Backed by millions of dollars from anonymous wealthy investors and CEOs, the dark-money Massachusetts Opportunity Alliance (MOA) is backing Question 5, a ballot initiative that would impose a strict ‘revenue cap’ on Massachusetts and slash funding for classrooms, hospitals, and first responders across the state.

Question 5 Would

- Force repeated cuts to state and local public services

- Lead to layoffs for teachers, nurses, and firefighters

- Make healthcare, childcare and housing more expensive

- Give billions to the rich while the rest of us suffer from cuts

- Severely limit the state’s ability to recover from recessions
